A brisk walk from Marina Cove Park through Jean Sweeney Open Space Park
Sponsored by the Alameda Collaborative for Children, Youth, and Families in partnership with the Alameda Recreation and Parks Department and Pedestrian Friendly Alameda.
On the walk through Jean Sweeney Open Space Park, Bill Delaney, President of the Alameda Recreation and Parks Commission, described the park and plans for its development. About 40 people who joined the brisk walk listened and asked questions about the park's unfolding.
